This position is associated with the sale of Intel's NAND memory and storage business to SK Hynix (You can read more about the transaction in the press release - https://newsroom.intel.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/11/2020/10/nand-memory-news-q-a.pdf). The transaction will enhance the resources and potential of the business' storage solutions, including client and enterprise SSDs (Solid-State Drives), in the rapidly growing NAND Flash space amid the era of big data.

Come join our team as a Sr. Python Developer Engineer and work on one of the most advanced 3DNAND and SSD technology portfolios in the world. As the global leader in the semiconductor industry, Intel possesses many industry-leading SSD technologies including the most capable Quadruple Level Cell (QLC) NAND Flash products. As a Sr. Python Developer Engineer, you will be part of a world-class team that will transition to lead the SSD business at SK Hynix.

This position aligns to that transaction, which includes the 3DNAND enterprise and client SSD business. Transition is expected to close in late 2022, subject to regulatory approvals and other customary conditions. At deal close, all employees aligned to this phase of the transaction will transition to SK Hynix.


Qualifications


Minimum Qualifications:

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position.

  • Bachelors Degree Electronical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics or related (Documentation related to bachelor's degree completion will be required).
  • 3+ years of proven ability to write object oriented code in Python programming language. Willing to read, document and integrate existing modules of code into larger architectures.
  • 3+ years of experience in building new solutions from scratch and lead technical teams during the development process.
  • 3+ years of experience interpreting requirements to propose solutions and deliver tools.
  • 3+ years of GIT experience or other software for tracking changes in code.
  • 2+ years of experience in designing automation solutions for complex scenarios.
  • Be familiar with client/server HW components.
  • Advanced English level.


Preferred Qualifications:

Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

  • Familiarity with NVMe / PCIe protocol.
  • Strong background in platform architecture and design including security and trusted execution.
  • Experience providing solution that interacts with the firmware.
  • Experience with customer support.
  • Prior participation on projects applying Agile methodology.

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
